Samantha & Owain
British couple Samantha & Owain had their Jewish blessing ceremony beneath the ruins of the ancient Greek Theatre of Taormina on the stunning panoramic ‘Terrazza Teatro Greco’ of the luxury Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo.
Samantha chose white roses and babys breath for her bridal flowers.
All around the ceremony terrace the surrounding walls were covered with white and lemon yellow flowers. Vases of white Sicilian ceramics on stone columns overflowed with flowers.
Underneath the wedding chuppah the couple signed the Ketubah and the groom did the traditional smashing of a glass at the conclusion of the ceremony.
The Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo is a fabulous location for wedding photography with its garden and stunning views towards Mount Etna.
Tall glass vases filled with water and floating colour changing led lights set the scene for the table flower centrepieces on the ‘Afrodite Terrace’. A tenor entertained the guests during dinner and of course the no Jewish wedding would be complete without some lively dancing and the traditional Jewish ‘Hora’ chair lift. Mazel Tov!
